WEDNESDAYS:

CROSS TRAINING  |  3:30-5:00

  • Every Wednesday, except school vacation days or ½ days of school
  • After School: 3:30 - 5:00
  • Adult leaders meet the kids at the Grade School right after school by the pre-K & Kindergarten rooms and walk them to the church. Pick-up is at the Methodist Church sanctuary at 5:00.  (during inclement whether they'll ride a bus)
  • For all kids in Kindergarten - 4th grade

       What is CrossTraining?

We build our spiritual muscles by focusing on spiritual disciplines -- prayer, studying God’s Word, fellowship with each other, and giving -- in order to better understand the love God has for us. We do this through lessons, memory verses, crafts, and games. With kids from many different churches and backgrounds joining us, we focus on the essentials of the Christian faith and teaching the Bible, not on one particular tradition or denomonational perspective.  Snacks are also provided!!

J-CREW

  • Specifically for Pre-teens (5th & 6th grade)
  • Same time as Cross Training: 3:30 - 5:00  (not on school vacation days or ½ days of school)
  • They are also welcome to walk over with the leaders after school, meeting by the Kindergarten room if they want.
  • They meet in the Youth area on 2nd floor of the church

      What is J-Crew?

It is Bible-based teaching and discussion led by Tana, our Youth Director, about topics relevant for pre-teens. Snacks and Game Room hangout time are always a hit, too!!!

Sundays:

 SUNDAY SCHOOL  | 10:30 - 11:15  |  2nd floor

We use the rotation model of teaching to give the kids different  perspectives of a single Bible story. We spend a month on a story and divide each lesson into stations that utilize different learning styles: visual, auditory and kinesthetic.  Each week the groups rotate to a new station to do activities such as a science project, drama, storytelling, cooking, art, or games.  The most important thing we do is remind the kids that the Bible is filled with TRUE stories that actually happen.  These true stories help us live for God and love others.
